It must be 50 or 60 years since I've seen this movie. What an epic!......I'd forgotten what being young was all about. Thank you, You. Tube....made my day.

I can't help but be reminded of Renkas' Blind The Animals and some songs by Palmbomen. I love it.

It is actually interestingly composed harmonically. A very eighties Italo action movie sound. I remember being 7-8 years old wanting to have the body of he man, a harness, a cropped muscle tank and I was going to marry Princess Zelda or Sheera or the cool girl in BMX bandits (I have realised that was a young Nicole Kidman now). The synth thing stuck with me even when I was a bass player playing metal, especially the analogue stuff. The idea of creating your own workflow, that no one else but you understand with machines is still something I love. I saw documentaries on experimental electronic music with synths, tape loops and huge arrays of effect pedals. In some way Tangerine Dream, Fabio Frizzi, partly Vangelis and the cheezy action movie kindof music or horror movie music stuck with me. Im actually still hooked on and sometimes aroused by dressing up cool or seing amazing outfits that someone put their soul into combining. I love that this video and song allows itself to be romantically cheezy without shame.

I love this song! <3 Back in 2015 I spent the summer with my sister in Crown Heights, New York to help take care of the kids b/c of difficulties with her pregnancy - one of the hottest summers. I'm Jewish as is my sister and her family - I remember making up new verses about Jewish customs and holidays so I'd sing it while pushing the stroller to the toddler(s) when I took her (sometimes & her brother - main 2 I'd take care while my sister was in bed before the older kids came home from camp, sleepover camp for 2 of them if I remember) to the local park and back to amuse them. Still one of my favorite movies - and a shout-out to Long Jack played the great John Carradine who's one of my favorite actors and has both this really great rivalry-friendship with Spencer Tracy's Manuel in this film (and Freddie's character too, with a dash of mentorship in it's own way <3)
